The scope of practice for nuclear medicine technologists shall be:

1. (a) If certified by the ARRT, the “Nuclear Medicine Practice Standards” adopted by the ASRT, effective June 26, 2022, available at https://www.asrt.org/main/standards-regulations/practice-standards/practice-standards by clicking on “Read The ASRT Practice Standards for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy” and as noted in Appendix B; or
2. (b) If certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), the “Nuclear Medicine Technologist Scope of Practice and Performance Standards”, 2nd Edition, approved June 9, 2022 by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologist Section, available at http://www.snmmi.org/ClinicalPractice/content.aspx?ItemNumber=5532 and as noted in Appendix B.
