The scope of practice for magnetic resonance technologists shall be as follows:

1. (a) If certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the “Magnetic Resonance Practice Standards” adopted by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), effective June 26, 2022, available at https://www.asrt.org/main/standards-regulations/practice-standards/practice-standards by clicking on “Read The ASRT Practice Standards for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy” and as noted in Appendix B; or
2. (b) If certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), the scope of practice outlined by the United States department of labor research contractor O*NET Online under the heading “Tasks”, available at https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/29-2035.00 and as reprinted in Appendix C on October 11, 2022.
