The following licensees and medical providers shall be subject to investigations:

1. (a) Licensees of the pharmacy board including:

   1. (1) Pharmacies, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians;

   2. (2) Permit holders including:

      1. a. Tele-pharmacy service providers;
      2. b. Methadone clinics;
      3. c. Infusion centers; and
      4. d. All other facilities where medications are administered, stored, or dispensed;
   3. (3) Wholesalers, manufacturers, and distributors of pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical devices;
   4. (4) Medical gas providers; and
   5. (5) Out of state permit holders under RSA 318:37 II(d);

2. (b) Other medical providers pursuant to RSA 318:8-a and RSA 318-B, including:

   1. (1) Physicians;
   2. (2) Nurse practitioners;
   3. (3) Physician assistants;
   4. (4) Naturopaths;
   5. (5) Podiatrists;
   6. (6) Optometrists;
   7. (7) Dentists; and
   8. (8) Veterinarians with prescriptive authority.
