1. (a) Any permanent full-time classified employee who has completed 10 years or more of continuous employment for the state, other than a law enforcement employee, shall be paid, in addition to the pay to which the employee is entitled under the classification and compensation plan, the longevity payment or payments authorized by RSA 99:5.
2. (b) For the purposes of (a) above, “permanent full-time classified employee” means a “regular classified employee” within the meaning of RSA 99:5.
3. (c) The additional compensation provided under paragraph (a) shall not affect the pay band assigned under the classification plan.
4. (d) The receipt of a longevity payment under paragraph (a) shall not prohibit any employee from earning a pay increment within the pay band assigned under the classification plan.
5. (e) Any state trooper or eligible state trooper command staff member who has completed 10 years or more of continuous service for the state shall be paid, in addition to the pay to which the employee is entitled under the classification plan, the longevity payment or payments authorized by RSA 99:5-a.
