1. (a) The board shall qualify a wire rope splicer by demonstration of professional competence, education and experience as evidenced by, but not limited to the applicant’s:

   1. (1) Resume;
   2. (2) Experience with rope wire;
   3. (3) Education by a wire rope manufacturer;
   4. (4) Ability to splice and knowledge of wire rope; and
   5. (5) Certification or diploma from a wire rope company stating the applicant’s level of training.
