The owner or operator of any tramway, upon the occurrence of an incident involving death or loss of control of a lift, shall immediately make contact with the lift inspector or a member of the board. The owner or operator of any tramway, upon the occurrence of an incident requiring the evacuation of any aerial lift by any method other than auxiliary power, shall immediately notify the lift inspector or a member of the board. In the event of an evacuation of an aerial lift by auxiliary power, the owner or operator of the lift shall notify the lift inspector or member of the board immediately, but no later than 24 hours of the incident.
