“Qualified personnel” means individuals, who, as a result of training and experience, understand and demonstrate competence with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of passenger tramways and associated hazards.

Pas 301.14. “Qualified wire rope inspector” means an individual who is acceptable to the board to inspect wire rope, as specified in Pas 304.02.
