The responsibilities of the board include:

1. (a) Adopting rules pursuant to RSA 225-A:8;
2. (b) Accepting and investigating complaints pursuant to RSA 225-A:13;
3. (c) Registering passenger tramway operators pursuant to RSA 225-A:14;
4. (d) Issuing emergency shut down orders and other orders pursuant to RSA 225-A:18-a and 225-A:19;
5. (e) Holding hearings as required by RSA 225-A:20; and
6. (f) Any other duty or power specified by statute.
