1. (a) The board shall recognize as maintenance of continuing competence a licensee's receipt of infection control education.
2. (b) The board shall credit the licensee with one contact hour for each clock hour spent in receipt of infection control education, to a maximum of 2 contact hours.
3. (c) Documentation of universal precaution education shall be a photocopy of a certificate of attendance, or a statement signed by the supervisor of the facility where the education took place.
