1. (a) Each sponsoring institution shall submit for each proposed nurse educator Form “Application for Faculty Approval Board Approved Education Programs”, as amended 04-06-2015.
2. (b) No nurse-educator shall assume responsibilities for which approval under this section is requested until such approval has been granted by the board.
3. (c) Each faculty member, preceptor, employee or agent of a distance education pre-licensure education program who is in contact with patients and students shall hold a current and active license to practice in the place where the patients are located that is not encumbered and meets all licensing requirements of the state of NH.
4. (d) Faculty of distance education pre-licensure programs who teach clinical experiences in NH shall seek and obtain nurse-educator approval pursuant to Nur 602.07.
5. (e) Faculty who teach distance education didactic nursing courses, or who have oversight of students or preceptors but do not provide care for patients, shall hold a current and active license to practice that is not encumbered and meets the requirements of the home state or jurisdiction where the nursing program is approved.
