1. (a) The liaison committee and the practice and education committee shall be permanent subcommittees of the board.
2. (b) These committees shall meet as directed by the board and in compliance with RSA 91-A and RSA 310:5, VI through VII.

3. (c) These committees shall have the following responsibilities:

   1. (1) The liaison committee shall:

      1. a. Make recommendations to the board related to practice and education issues concerning APRN practice; and
      2. b. Offer consultation to the board regarding standards of practice in relation to a complaint or investigation into an APRN licensee’s practice; and
   2. (2) The practice and education committee shall make recommendations to the board related to practice and education issues.
4. (d) Committees additional to the liaison committee and the practice and education committee, if any, shall consist of one or more board members who have been directed by the board to investigate and make recommendations on matters to be decided by the full board.

5. (e) When expressly authorized by the board, the authority of a committee described in (d) above shall include:

   1. (1) The retention of voluntary assistance from qualified persons to serve as

      advisors to the committee; or

   2. (2) The retention of paid advisors or consultants.
6. (f) A member of the board shall act as liaison to each committee described in (d) above.
