- (a) The midwifery council shall recognize a midwife's public professional presentations relating to midwifery as continuing education.
- (b) The midwifery council shall credit the midwife with 2 contact hours for each clock hour of a public presentation, to a maximum of 4 contact hours, provided that, if the midwife gives substantially the same public presentation more than once, the council shall credit the midwife for only a single presentation.
