Obligations of Plumbing Apprentices

Licensed plumbers shall take on as apprentices only those individuals who:
- (a) Work under a licensed NH master plumber who shall supervise the work experience and provide for educational development under an apprenticeship program meeting the requirements of the state apprenticeship council;
(b) Are supervised by a licensed NH master plumber as follows:
- (1) The first 2 years of supervision shall be direct supervision as defined in Mec 102.06; and
- (2) The remaining years of supervision shall be supervised as defined in Mec 102.25; and
- (c) Hold a currently valid apprentice license issued by the board.
