1. (a) The board shall place a land surveyor on inactive status pursuant to RSA 332-G:7, II upon receipt of:

   1. (1) A written request; and
   2. (2) Proof of active duty service in the Armed Forces of the United States.

2. (b) The board shall return a land surveyor to active status upon receipt of:

   1. (1) Payment of the renewal fee;
   2. (2) Proof of completion of the continuing education requirements pursuant to Lan 403; and
   3. (3) Proof that the licensee has not been discharged from service in the Armed Forces of the United States for more than one year.
