1. (a) “Adjuster” means:

   1. (1) A public adjuster licensed by the department pursuant to RSA 402-D; and
   2. (2) An insurance claims adjuster licensed by the department pursuant to RSA 402-B.
2. (b) “Commissioner” means the insurance commissioner of the state of New Hampshire.
3. (c) “Department” means the New Hampshire insurance department.
4. (d) “Insurance producer” means an individual licensed by the New Hampshire insurance department pursuant to RSA 402-J.
5. (e) “Insurer” means an insurance company licensed or authorized to do business in the state of New Hampshire.
6. (f) “Producer” means insurance producer.
7. (g) “Self-study course” means a course that can be completed by self-study, independent reading, or online courses.
8. (h) “Sponsoring organization” means the organization that is preparing and presenting a continuing education program.
