Reconsideration initiated by the commission or on motion granted by the commission chair or presiding officer shall:

1. (a) Stay the original order issued by the commission; and

2. (b) Be completed with the issuance of a final decision no later than 45 days of the following, as applicable:

   1. (1) The issuance of the notice required by Hum 317.01(a); or
   2. (2) The granting of a motion for reconsideration and review.
