The institution shall support the student body as follows:

1. (a) Describing in its written plan the characteristics of the students it wishes to serve;
2. (b) Describing in its written plan its orderly process of recruitment and admissions that complies with the requirements of state and federal law concerning equality of educational opportunity;
3. (c) Providing advising and academic support services appropriate to the student body;
4. (d) Developing a student record system that includes, but is not limited to, health counseling, financial aid, academic transcripts, graduate employment, and performance on licensure examinations, as appropriate; and

5. (e) Ensuring security and maintenance by:

   1. (1) Storing physical records in secure, fire-resistant cabinets;
   2. (2) Securing electronic records so as to prevent loss; and
   3. (3) Routinely maintaining a secure backup of physical and electronic records.
