1. (a) “Course of treatment” means the period of time a woman requires treatment for breast or cervical cancer as specified in writing by the woman’s attending physician.

2. (b) Medical assistance shall be provided to any woman who:

   1. (1) Meets the requirements specified in 42 USC 1396a(aa) pursuant to 42 USC 96a(a)(10)(A)(ii)(XVIII);
   2. (2) Is a resident of the State of New Hampshire as defined in He-W 601.07(e); and
   3. (3) Is a citizen of the United States or a qualified alien as described in He-W 616.02.
3. (c) Medical assistance made available to a woman described in (b) above shall be limited to the woman’s course of treatment.

4. (d) Medical assistance made available to a woman described in (b) above shall be terminated when:

   1. (1) The woman no longer meets the requirements specified in 42 USC 1396a(aa);
   2. (2) The woman’s attending physician states in writing that the woman has completed her course of treatment; or
   3. (3) The woman no longer resides in the State of New Hampshire.
