1. (a) Acceptable verification of income and resources set aside under a plan to achieve self support (PASS), as defined in He-W 601.06, shall be written documentation from the Social Security Administration that indicates:

   1. (1) The individual is participating in the PASS;
   2. (2) The amount of income and resources to be excluded; and
   3. (3) The begin and end dates of the plan.

2. (b) Money set aside under a verified PASS, pursuant to (a) above, shall be treated as follows for all categories of financial assistance:

   1. (1) Funds set aside under a PASS are excluded as resources; and
   2. (2) Supplemental Security Income allocated into a PASS is excluded as income.
