The purpose of this part is to set forth the classification of and licensing requirements for psychiatric treatment residential programs pursuant to RSA 151:2, I(e)(2), and as described in RSA 151:9, VII(a)(4). Psychiatric treatment programs are designed and structured to provide intensive short term, intermediate, and long-term mental health services to persons who have psychiatric disorders or are in an acute phase of their mental illness.
