This part shall apply to persons using sources of radiation for wireline service operations including mineral logging, radioactive markers, and subsurface tracer studies as specified in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 39, “Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Well Logging”.

1. (a) All references to “NRC” or “Commission” shall mean the New Hampshire department of health and human services;
2. (b) The definition of “licensed material” shall be as defined in He-P 4003 of this chapter; and
3. (c) The definition of “sealed source” shall be as defined in He-P 4003 of this chapter.

He-P 4039.03. Definitions. To reconcile differences between this part and the incorporated sections of 10 CFR Part 39 relating to using sources of radiation for wireline service operations including mineral logging, radioactive markers, and subsurface tracer studies, the following words and phrases shall be substituted for the language in 10 CFR Part 39 as follows:
