1. (a) The services listed in He-M 426.07 - He-M 426.17 shall be covered services, available under the medicaid program to all eligible medicaid recipients when provided by, or recommended by, a licensed practitioner of the healing arts pursuant to these rules. Services identified in He-M 426.07 - He-M 426.17 may be provided by CMHPs. Community mental health providers shall only provide those services identified in He-M 426.07 - He-M 426.17 for which they have received approval pursuant to He-M 426.04.
2. (b) Services provided in an inpatient hospital setting shall only be reimbursable through medicaid if provided by a legally qualified psychiatrist. Services provided in an IMD shall not be reimbursable.
3. (c) Services recommended by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts shall be provided in accordance with department rules and state law.
