1. (a) A community residence shall tailor all services to the competencies, interests, preferences, needs, and lifestyles of the individuals served and provide such services in accordance with each individual’s service agreement.

2. (b) A community residence shall offer services that include assistance and instruction to improve and maintain an individual’s skills in basic daily living, personal development, and community activities such as:

   1. (1) Personal decision making;
   2. (2) Personal care, household management, budgeting, shopping, and other functional skills;
   3. (3) Household chores and responsibilities;
   4. (4) Improving and maintaining social skills;
   5. (5) Developing and maintaining personal relationships;
   6. (6) Achieving and maintaining physical well-being;
   7. (7) Improving or maintaining mobility and physical functioning;
   8. (8) Accessing a wide range of integrated community activities including recreational, cultural, and other opportunities;
   9. (9) Pursuing avocations in areas of personal interest;
   10. (10) Participating in religious services and practices of the individual’s choosing;
   11. (11) Attending to personal hygiene and appearance;
   12. (12) Accessing and using transportation;
   13. (13) Accessing and using assistive technology; and
   14. (14) Other similar activities as indicated in the individual’s service agreement.

3. (c) The number of providers working in a community residence shall be sufficient to:

   1. (1) Meet the needs of the individuals living therein, as identified in each individual’s service agreement; and
   2. (2) Provide the services required by He-M 1001.05.
