1. (a) Prior to or upon the resident’s admission to the NF, and annually thereafter, the NF shall inform the resident and his or her legal representative both orally and in writing, and in a language that the resident understands, of his or her rights, including the rights of residents in the event of a proposed transfer or discharge from the NF, in accordance with 42 CFR 483.10 and RSA 151:26, and of all rules and regulations governing resident conduct and responsibilities during the resident’s stay in the NF.
2. (b) Receipt of the information in (a) above, and any amendments to it, shall be acknowledged in writing by the resident or his or her legal representative.
3. (c) A NF shall establish and maintain identical policies and practices for all residents, regardless of the payment source, regarding transfers, discharges, and the provision of services.
