1. (a) Subject to (d), below, the camp administrator, camp director, or designee shall notify the local police, fire, and rescue departments regarding their operating dates in accordance with the following:

   1. (1) Annually for year-round camps; and
   2. (2) Immediately prior to opening for seasonal camps.

2. (b) The notification required by (a), above, shall:

   1. (1) Be in writing;
   2. (2) Include the opening and closing dates for seasonal camps; and
   3. (3) Be delivered in hand or sent via private delivery service, U.S. Postal Service, or email.

3. (c) The YRC owner, camp administrator, or designee, shall:

   1. (1) Retain a paper copy of the notification; and
   2. (2) Provide it upon request to unit personnel.
4. (d) For any YRC located within an area that is served by full-time, non-volunteer emergency response personnel even when the YRC is not in operation, notice as specified in (a) above shall be required only if requested by the local emergency response agencies.
