- (a) The licensee shall receive continuing professional education credit for participation in a genetic counseling research project.
- (b) The licensee shall receive one hour of continuing professional education credit for every 4 clock hours spent on a research project, to a maximum of 8 hours per renewal cycle.
(c) Documentation of participation in a genetic counseling research project shall be a photocopy of a statement signed by either the principal investigator or a representative of the grant sponsor showing:
- (1) The name of the research project;
- (2) The beginning and ending dates of the licensee's participation; and
- (3) The licensee’s role in the research project.
