1. (a) The licensee shall receive continuing professional education credit for genetic counseling educational events sponsored by the ABGC.
2. (b) For each educational event the licensee shall receive continuing professional education credit in an amount equal to the hours credited by the NSGC or ACMG.

3. (c) Documentation of completion shall be:

   1. (1) A photocopy of the original official NSGC or ACMG continuing education registry transcript: or

   2. (2) A certificate of attendance showing:

      1. a. The name of the licensee;
      2. b. The name or title of the event; and
      3. c. The date and hours of the event.
