Applicants for renewal of their licenses shall include in their application packets the “Addendum to the Universal Application for License Renewal for Genetic Counselors”, revised April 2025, with a photocopy of the current certificate issued by one of the following:

1. (a) The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC), or its successor organization; or
2. (b) American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG), or its successor organization.
