1. (a) The executive director and department employees shall be excluded from the requirements of this chapter while acting in the performance of their official duties.
2. (b) The aquaculture and sale of live fish or aquatic invertebrates for fishing bait shall be in accordance with Fis 807.
3. (c) The capture, possession, and propagation of birds for falconry, in accordance with RSA 209-A and Fis 813, shall be exempt from Fis 803, Fis 804, and Fis 806 dealing with importation, possession, and propagation of wildlife.
4. (d) Rehabilitators may possess indigenous species of wildlife for the purpose of rehabilitating pursuant to Fis 812.
5. (e) Persons possessing wildlife legally taken and possessed under other licenses pursuant to RSA 207, RSA 208, RSA 209, RSA 209-A, RSA 210, RSA 211, and RSA 214 shall not be required to obtain a permit to possess wildlife under this chapter.
6. (f) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to an owner or person possessing a wolf hybrid, as defined in RSA 466-A:1, VII, or a domesticated show or pet cat registered with a nationally or internationally recognized breeding association or registry which certifies the pedigree and registration of such cat to be without any wild felid parentage for a minimum of 3 generations.
7. (g) Persons taking or possessing wildlife pursuant to a scientific permit issued under RSA 214:29 shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter.
