American Shad

- (a) American shad (Alosa sapidissima) taken by any method from tidal waters shall be immediately released back into the waters from which it was taken.
- (b) No person shall transport, possess or land shad from outside the jurisdiction of the state that exceeds more than 5% of the total landing by weight per commercial trip.
