- (a) In addition to the equipment requirements specified in RSA 214:34-a, licensed bait dealers shall use a fish grader, with minimum grader spacings of 14/64 inches, while taking freshwater smelt for sale as bait from ice in through February 28.
- (b) The licensed bait dealer shall immediately liberate alive all undersized smelt into the waters from which they were taken.
