1. (a) Upon receipt of a complaint, state instructors shall be evaluated by an assigned mentor who shall document the instructor teaching and determine teaching proficiency.

2. (b) As a result of a negative performance evaluation, the commission shall require the state instructor to successfully complete any of the following or combination of the following in order to maintain the minimum standards required in Fire 404.02:

   1. (1) Attendance at additional training;
   2. (2) Student teaching under an assigned supervising instructor; or

   3. (3) Performance of other activities as deemed necessary by the commission.
