1. (a) Pursuant to RSA 482:8-a, annual registration fees for dams in the amount specified in RSA 482:8-a shall be payable to the department by January 1 of each calendar year.
2. (b) The department shall send a written notice, by October 31 of each year, to each owner specifying the amount of the registration fee that shall be due.
3. (c) The department shall send a second notice to each owner who fails to submit the annual registration fee by January 1. Such notice shall inform the owner that the payment is overdue and that if the owner fails to submit the registration fee within 10 days, the owner shall be subject to the penalties authorized by RSA 482:89.
