1. (a) Sampling sites shall:

   1. (1) Be readily accessible by WWTP personnel;
   2. (2) Not be located in confined space areas;
   3. (3) Be free of tripping, slipping, and falling hazards;
   4. (4) Have a supply of electrical power with a ground fault interrupt; and
   5. (5) Be supplied with batteries or connected to the emergency power source.
2. (b) To prevent freezing, samplers shall be housed in enclosed and, if needed, heated structures or equipment enclosures designed for outdoor use.
