1. (a) The owner shall have an operation and maintenance manual that provides information and guidance for day-to-day operation of each sewage pumping station. The manual shall be readily accessible, kept up to date, and made available to the department upon request.

2. (b) The operation and maintenance manual required by (a), above, shall include all information that is necessary to operate and maintain the specific equipment at the pumping station, including but not limited to the following:

   1. (1) Information on process design assumptions;
   2. (2) Unit process information that includes detailed process descriptions, control measures, and monitoring procedures for processes, if applicable;
   3. (3) Start-up procedures for each unit operation as applicable and each piece of equipment;
   4. (4) Maintenance management systems;
   5. (5) Laboratory test procedures;
   6. (6) Safety procedures;
   7. (7) Organizational structure and administrative procedures;
   8. (8) Troubleshooting procedures;
   9. (9) Emergency operation plan;
   10. (10) Staffing requirements;
   11. (11) Process and instrumentation diagrams;
   12. (12) Checklists for systems and components for the operator’s use in developing a maintenance program for pump stations;
   13. (13) Utility emergency contact information;
   14. (14) Staff training and licenses necessary for the chief operators and assistant operators;
   15. (15) A list of each chemical used at the pump station and what the chemical is used for, together with the applicable material safety data sheet (MSDS); and
   16. (16) Equipment supplier manuals.
