In order for a municipality to maintain its status as an equivalent program, it shall:

1. (a) Have available to the department, all sampling and analysis records and, if an inspection program was approved, all inspection reports and related documents for not less than 3 years;
2. (b) Update the department of any changes in the staff responsible for the sampling and analysis program and, if applicable, the inspection program within 30 days of the change; and
3. (c) Notify the department annually of the municipality’s intent to continue the equivalent program no later than May 1st of each year.
