(a) A used oil generator, household DIY used oil collection center, commercial used oil collection center, or used oil aggregation point shall comply with the recordkeeping requirements in Env-Hw 1405.02 and shall keep, for at least 3 years from the date of shipment, documentation of each used oil shipment, in the form of a log, invoice, manifest, bill of lading, or other shipping document, that includes:
- (1) The used oil transporter’s name, address, and EPA identification number, if applicable;
- (2) The receiving facility’s name, address, and EPA identification number, if applicable;
- (3) The quantity of used oil shipped; and
- (4) The date of shipment.
- (b) A used oil generator, household DIY used oil collection center, commercial used oil collection center, or used oil aggregation point that burns used oil onsite shall keep the analytical results required in Env-Hw 1406.04(a)(4) for 3 years from the date the used oil was last handled.
- (c) The 3-year record retention period for the records specified in this section shall be extended automatically while any enforcement action is pending.
