1. (a) Chlorine or other disinfectants shall not be added to the source within one week prior to sampling.

2. (b) The location at which source water samples are collected shall be:

   1. (1) Prior to any treatment;
   2. (2) Before or at the first customer for each groundwater source; and
   3. (3) Approved by the department pursuant to Env-Dw 708.
3. (c) Each sample taken for analysis shall contain at least 100 milliliters (ml) of water.
4. (d) Groundwater source samples shall be analyzed as specified in Env-Dw 707 and 40 CFR 141.402(c)(2).
