- (a) The rules in this part shall apply to all public water systems (PWSs), including community water systems (CWSs) and non-community water systems (NCWSs), whether transient NCWS or non-transient NCWS, and whether seasonal or non-seasonal systems.
- (b) Subject to (c) below, each PWS owner shall monitor in accordance with Env-Dw 708 unless any of the conditions specified in Env-Dw 709 that trigger additional sampling requirements are met.
- (c) The owner of a seasonal system shall conduct monthly sampling each month that the system serves water to the public, subject to (d) below.
- (d) The owner of a seasonal system where the entire distribution system remains pressurized during the entire period that the system is not serving water to the public shall monitor for total coliforms in accordance with the monitoring requirements for a non-seasonal NCWS specified in Env-Dw 709.08 and Env-Dw 709.09.
