(a) The owner of a PWS may delegate the responsibility to conduct the inspections required by Env-Dw 503.11(a) as follows:
- (1) The individual conducting the inspection shall have knowledge of the facilities and functions requiring action or maintenance; and
- (2) The individual performing the inspections specified in Env-Dw 503.11(a)(5) and (6) shall be a certified operator.
- (b) The certified operator of a CWS or NTNC shall determine the specific functions to be accomplished at the inspections required by Env-Dw 503.11(a).
(c) For any CWS or NTNC, if the inspections required by Env-Dw 503.11(a) are not performed by a certified operator, a certified operator shall inspect the system and review the inspection records required by Env-Dw 503.13(a) on the following schedule:
- (1) Treatment processes with mechanical chemical addition or processes treating bacteria, nitrate, or nitrite, at least once every 30 days;
- (2) Treatment processes without mechanical chemical addition, at least once every 90 days;
- (3) Source pumping stations and booster stations with no treatment, at least once every 90 days; and
- (4) Water storage facilities with no treatment, at least once every 90 days.
