(a) The owner or operator (O/O) of a community water system (CWS) shall identify and report to the department whether the following construction materials are present in the distribution system of the CWS:
- (1) Lead from piping, solder, caulking, interior lining of distribution mains, alloys, and home plumbing;
- (2) Copper from piping and alloys, service lines, and home plumbing;
- (3) Galvanized piping, service lines, and home plumbing;
- (4) Ferrous piping materials such as cast iron and steel; and
- (5) Asbestos cement pipe.
- (b) The O/O shall maintain and update as necessary a lead service line inventory and lead service line replacement plan meeting the requirements of 40 CFR 141 Subpart I, 7-1-24 edition.
