“Principal of the applicant” means:

1. (a) For a general or limited partnership, one of the general partners;
2. (b) For a corporation, including limited liability corporations and professional corporations, the president or a vice president; and
3. (c) For any other business entity, the individual who has controlling authority or is otherwise equivalent to the chief executive officer.
