1. (a) Unless otherwise specified, any notice to customers required by these rules shall:

   1. (1) Include the company name and relevant contact telephone number;

   2. (2) Be provided:

      1. a. In a separate mailing;
      2. b. As a bill insert; or
      3. c. By clear and conspicuous notice printed on the customer’s bill; and
   3. (3) Be sent separately from communications that would otherwise include only promotional materials.
2. (b) Notices pursuant to this section may be delivered electronically to those customers who have elected to receive bills and notices electronically.
3. (c) Electronic delivery pursuant to (b) above shall not include posting a notice on a publicly available website without direct notification to the customer pursuant to this section.
