The board shall approve apprentice applicants from CTE program approved by the department of education under RSA chapter 188-E and Ed 306.34 when the CTE program meet the following criteria:
- (a) Teachers in an approved CTE electrical program shall be currently licensed as a NH electrician, pursuant to RSA 319-C:3, IX-a;
- (b) The teacher/master shall record all accumulated schooling and practical experience during the instructional program;
- (c) The program shall require all enrolled students to be registered as apprentices with the board;
- (d) The initial sponsor/master for the student apprentice shall be the master/teacher for the CTE electrical program or the master in (e)(1) below; and
- (e) A school craft or advisory committee, that meets the following requirements, shall be assigned to oversee the electrical program as follows:
- (f) At least one member shall be a NH master electrician, assuming the NH master electrician responsibilities, to oversee the development of the electrical apprentice;
- (g) The board shall be notified of the designated NH master electrician serving on the craft committee and of any change to the designated master, pursuant to RSA 319-C:3, IX-a; and
- (h) The NH master electrician shall provide program progress reports at the start of the school year and at the end of the school year.
