Each applicant who seeks licensure under Ed 505.05 shall have completed a program providing the following core competencies:

1. (a) Content competencies in the following areas necessary for college and workforce success:

   1. (1) Language arts;
   2. (2) Reasoning;
   3. (3) Information literacy;
   4. (4) Mathematics;
   5. (5) Sciences; and
   6. (6) Social sciences;

2. (b) Creative competencies in the following areas:

   1. (1) Creative expression;
   2. (2) Critical thinking;
   3. (3) Innovative and collaborative problem-solving; and
   4. (4) Resourcefulness;

3. (c) Communication competencies in the following areas:

   1. (1) Languages;
   2. (2) Digital media;
   3. (3) Networking; and
   4. (4) Content creation technologies; and

4. (d) Cultural competencies in the following areas:

   1. (1) Cultural understanding;
   2. (2) Taking responsibility for self and others;
   3. (3) Adaptability and resilience;
   4. (4) Ability to engage in productive teamwork; and
   5. (5) Social and civic engagement.
