1. (a) Unless registered as a dietitian with the CDR on or before December 31, 2000, an applicant for licensure shall:

   1. (1) Hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a college or university approved by the board pursuant to Diet 303.02;
   2. (2) Have completed a major course of study in human nutrition, nutrition education, food and nutrition, dietetics, public health nutrition, or food systems management;

   3. (3) Have successfully completed one of the following as required by the CDR at the time of the applicant's first registration with the CDR:

      1. a. A dietetic internship of no less than 900 hours;
      2. b. A pre-professional practice program; or
      3. c. A coordinated program with documented experience in the practice of dietetics under supervision of a registered, certified, or licensed dietitian; and
   4. (4) Have successfully passed the examination administered by the CDR.
2. (b) An applicant registered as a dietitian with the CDR on or before December 31, 2000 shall, pursuant to RSA 326-H:12-a, be deemed to have met the requirements of (a) above.
