- (a) Awards to students made under this program shall be designated as UNIQUE scholarships.
- (b) Awards made under the New Hampshire UAAP shall be made only to academically qualified, needy, residents of the state pursuing eligible programs at eligible postsecondary institutions.
(c) Award recipients shall:
- (1) Have an EFC no higher than the amount most recently determined pursuant to Csp 602.01(b);
- (2) Be eligible to receive aid under the federal Title IV programs; and
- (3) Be enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student as defined in Csp 601.02 during the academic year or its equivalent.
- (d) Disbursement of awards under this program shall be made as indicated in Csp 602.02 (g). No student shall receive more than the equivalent of 4 full-time academic years worth of awards, as defined in Csp 601.02(a). Awards for a student shall not be required to be consecutive.
- (e) Awards under this program shall be treated by the institution in the same manner as the state grants for purposes of financial aid packaging.
- (f) Any funds received by the institution that remain after all eligible undergraduate students have been awarded shall be returned to the endowment trust fund established in RSA 6:38 prior to the end of the fiscal year.
- (g) Grants may be used to attend summer sessions or other sessions of shorter duration than a semester, but the total amount of grant award for the academic year or its equivalent shall not exceed the award amount determined by the commission for the fiscal year.
