An eligible student shall not transfer his or her governor’s scholarship award to another postsecondary institution, unless the eligible student initially attends a community college and then transfers directly to a participating eligible institution without a break in attendance. Such student shall remain an eligible student for a maximum of 4 years of total eligibility.
