1. (a) "Bank" means a New Hampshire chartered:

   1. (1) Guaranty savings bank;
   2. (2) Mutual savings bank;
   3. (3) Merchant bank;
   4. (4) Cooperative bank;
   5. (5) Building and loan association;
   6. (6) Savings and loan association;
   7. (7) Commercial bank; or
   8. (8) Trust company with depository powers.
2. (b) "Credit union" means a New Hampshire chartered credit union.
3. (c) “Nondepository trust company” means a New Hampshire chartered nondepository trust company, family fiduciary services company or family trust company.
