- (a) Within 30 days of the filing of the petition for rulemaking, the board shall notify the petitioner, in writing, whether the petition is granted or denied.
- (b) If the petition is granted, the board shall commence a rulemaking proceeding in accordance with the requirements of RSA 541-A:4.
- (c) If the petition is denied, the board shall notify the petitioner, in writing, of the reason(s) for the denial.
- (d) The denial of a petition for rulemaking shall not entitle the petitioner to a hearing.
